Installation Terms & Warranty Summary
At Flooring Liquidators, we aim to deliver high-quality installations following industry and manufacturer standards. Please review the key terms below to ensure a smooth installation experience:
1-Year Limited Labour Warranty
We offer a 1-year limited labour warranty on carpet and hard surface installations, aligned with NWFA standards. This warranty covers labour-related service and repairs only. It does not cover:
Material costs (manufacturer warranties apply where applicable)
Issues due to improper site conditions (e.g. uneven floors, foundation shifts, or moisture)
Damage by third parties, neglect, or customer modifications
Installations where our flooring recommendations were not followed
Note: Any work done by you or third-party installers voids our labour warranty.
Pre-Installation Requirements
Site must have working electricity, water, and climate control
Flooring must acclimate indoors for 3 days before installation
Customer is responsible for clearing small items and moving furniture unless otherwise agreed in writing
Additional fees may apply for unforeseen issues like subfloor repairs or leveling
Liability Disclaimer
Flooring Liquidators is not responsible for:
Damages to existing trim, walls, or paint during flooring removal
Moving or reinstalling large appliances or specialty furniture
Cleaning after installation or damage to electrical/water lines
Delays due to unpaid balances or site not being ready
Waiver of Warranty
Customers who choose to proceed against our professional advice must understand this will void all warranties, including manufacturer and installation warranties.
Payment & Returns
100% of material and labour must be paid 48 hours prior to installation
No returns on installed flooring; restocking fees apply for cancellations
All claims must be brought to Flooring Liquidators’ attention within 365 days of the installation completion date.
