How long does laminate flooring last?

Can laminate flooring be installed in basements?
Laminate can be installed in basements with proper moisture precautions, including a vapour barrier and a dry, level concrete subfloor. For high-moisture basements, waterproof vinyl flooring may be a more reliable option.
What AC rating do I need for my home?
AC ratings measure scratch and wear resistance. AC1-AC2 is suitable for bedrooms and low-traffic rooms. AC3 handles moderate residential traffic. AC4 is ideal for high-traffic residential or light commercial use. Most homes do well with AC3 or AC4.
Can laminate flooring be refinished?
